Young Investigator Retreat 2016

On July 4 and 5, 2016 the first Young Investigator Retreat for the BioTechMed-Graz postdocs and their principal investigators (PIs) was organized by the BioTechMed-Graz professors Christine Moissl-Eichinger and Veronika Schöpf at Reinischkogel.
On the first day the participants presented and discussed their fields of research and projects. An information seminar on funding opportunities for young researchers, power point karaoke and round table discussions on career planning were also part of the agenda.
Joint teambuilding activities in a high rope course encouraged closer links between the postdocs.
On the second day the "designthinkers Austria" organized a workshop on the topic “from the project proposal to the investor pitch”.
