Vortrag Prof. Espenshade, 27.3.2019

Am 27. März 2019 hält Prof. Espenshade von der Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (Department of Cell Biology) einen Vortrag zum Thema “MECHANISMS OF NUTRIENT SIGNALING: CROSSTALK BETWEEN LIPIDS AND OXYGEN“. Hier finden Sie die Einladung und untenstehend weitere Details.

Peter Espenshade performed  post doctoral research in the laboratory of Drs. Goldstein and Brown, deciphering the post translational regulation steps of  Sterol Regulatory Element Binding Proteins(SREBPs).
His current research interests can be summarized as follows,
1. To define mechanisms for oxygen regulation of SREBP in yeast and humans
2. To identify signaling pathways that regulate cell growth in response to oxygen and lipid supply
3. To identify new regulators of the SREBP family of transcription factors
In his talk he will introduce us to:
„MECHANISMS OF NUTRIENT SIGNALING: CROSSTALK BETWEEN LIPIDS AND OXYGEN“
We would be very happy if you could join us to listen to his talk!
