On the first Wednesday of every month (during the lecture term), BioTechMed-Graz organizes a Science Breakfast alternately at the University of Graz, Medical University of Graz and Graz University of Technology.

The next BioTechMed-Graz Science Breakfast will take place on March 6, 2019 at the University of Graz. Our guest will be the Institute for Advanced Studies.

On December 5, 2018 Mag. Bernhard Weber presented the Center of Innovation and Knowledge Transfer.

On November 7, 2018 a BioTechMed-Graz Science Breakfast took place at the Graz University of Technology. Our speaker was Prof. Christa Schleper. She talked about "the unplannable steps in a scientific career - a personal view“.

On October 3, 2018 a BioTechMed-Graz Science Breakfast took place at the University of Graz. Our speaker was Prof. Dr. Ulrich Körtner. He talked about: "Key issues of Bioethics".

On June 6, 2018 a BioTechMed-Graz Science Breakfast took place at Graz University of Technology. Our speaker was Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Baumjohann. The topic of his lecture was "From Graz into Space".

On May 2, 2018 a BioTechMed-Graz Science Breakfast took place at Graz University of Technology. Our speaker was Priv.-Doz. Dr. Christian Fazekas. In his lecture he talked about "Bodily distress and resilience".

On March 7, 2018 a BioTechMed-Graz Science Breakfast took place at the Medical University of Graz. Our speaker was the Scientific Director of FH Joanneum Univ.-Prof. DI Dr. Karl Peter Pfeiffer.

On December 6, 2017 a BioTechMed-Graz Science Breakfast took place at the University of Graz. Representatives of the Service Units for Compatibility and a panel discussion talked about reconciliation of Family and Scientific Career. 

On November 8, 2017 a BioTechMed-Graz Science Breakfast took place at the Medical University of Graz. Patricia Cabezas, PhD (European Science Foundation) talked about: "Becoming post-academic: stimulating career conversations".

On June 7, 2017 at 08.30 a.m. a Science Breakfast took place at the Botanical Garden Graz.

On May 3, 2017 the seventh Science Breakfast took place at the University of Graz. The Knowledge Transfer Center South (WTZ Süd) talked about: “Bridge building in Science, Industry and Society”.

On April 5, 2017 at 08.30 a.m. the sixth Science Breakfast took place at the Graz University of Technology. Univ.-Prof. Dr. Jürgen Sandkühler talked about: "How to publish in SCIENCE and other highly visible journals."

On February 1, 2017 Prof. Dr. Walter Berka talked about: "The Austrian Science Council and the Austrian Research Associaon: Two Players in the Field of Research and University Development in Austria"

On December 7, 2016 Dr. Ylva Huber, Forschungsförderungsgesellschaft (FFG) talked about "ERC in brief: Tips for presenting your project and CV"

A third Science Breakfast took place on October 5, 2016 at the Graz University of Technology. Kathryn List, founder and chairwoman of the private foundation of the AVL Cultural Foundation and CEO of the AVL Cultural Foundation GmbH talked about "Why Art Matters: The Intersection of Art, Science, Technology and Business"

The second Science Breakfast took place on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at the Medical University of Graz. Gabriele Suppan, MA, consultant for strategic communication talked about "Reasons you should invest your time in networking (see digest).

The first Science Breakfast took place on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at the University of Graz. Invited speakers were Dipl.-Ing. MMag. Otmar Kühner and Mag. Claudio Kratzmüller from Science Park Graz.
They gave a talk with the topic “From a Research Result to a Business Idea“ (see digest).
