Young Researcher Groups 2025

The objective of the “Young Researcher Group (YRG)” program of BioTechMed-Graz is to support the efforts of the most exceptional and promising postdoctoral fellows and to promote interdisciplinary, excellent and innovative research projects that involve collaboration between the three partner universities and a research area of BioTechMed-Graz.

Application requirements (excerpt):

• Applicants must have worked for at least two years in one of the BioTechMed-Graz research areas at one of the BioTechMed-Graz partner universities.
• Applicants must have held or currently hold a scientific position (PhD or Postdoc) at one of the partner universities.
• No more than eight years should have passed between completing the doctoral degree and the application deadline.
• Applicants must be full or associate members of BioTechMed-Graz.
• Applicants holding a §99(5) UG Tenure Track position are not eligible to apply.

Funding: Max. EUR 500,000 for 3 years
