Apply now for a BioTechMed-Graz Lab Rotation


The Lab Rotation Program (LRP) of BioTechMed-Graz will enable students with a master’s degree/diploma MD to become personally acquainted with the research teams and work done in laboratories of BioTechMed-Graz members. The aim of the LRP is to give potential doctoral students a chance to broaden their scientific interests beyond the topic of their master thesis before they decide on applications for specific doctoral programs.
The application deadline is June 30, 2019. The lab rotations start with October 2019.

Details

  • One lab rotation takes 4 months
  • Students with master‘s degree in natural and/or life sciences
  • Application in a research field that is not related to the topic of the master’s thesis
  • Stipend: 8,000 EUR for personal use
  • 4,000 EUR are designated for consumables/other goods and services supporting the host institution

Who is eligible to apply?

  • Students who have received a master’s degree in the natural or life sciences/medical sciences from Austria or another country are eligible to apply
  • Candidates who have not officially finished their master’s studies may also apply (verification of completion  must be provided before the start of the lab rotation, lab rotation must start at the latest by January 15, 2020)

The application guidelines and a list of the BioTechMed-Graz full members are published in the member section of the BioTechMed-Graz website (registration as associated member of BioTechMed-Graz or application as full member of BioTechMed-Graz is necessary).
