Lab Rotation Stipends 2024

The Lab Rotation Program (LRP) of BioTechMed-Graz will enable international and national students with a master’s degree/diploma MD to become personally acquainted with the research teams and work done in laboratories of BioTechMed-Graz members. The aim of the LRP is to give potential doctoral students a chance to broaden their scientific interests beyond the topic of their master's thesis before they decide on applications for specific doctoral programs.

We are pleased to announce BioTechMed-Graz Lab Rotation Program 2024 again.

Details

• One lab rotation takes 4 months
• Students who have received a master’s degree in BioTechMed-Graz related research areas
  (e.g. natural or life sciences, medical sciences or computational sciences)
• Application in a research field that is not related to the topic of the master’s thesis
• Stipend agreement: 8,000 EUR for personal use
• One BioTechMed Graz full member acts as a mentor for one fellow
• 4,000 EUR are designated for consumables/other goods and services supporting the host institution

Who is eligible to apply?

• Completion of the Master's degree before 15 December 2024
• Candidates who have not officially finished their master’s studies may also apply
• Registration as an Associated BioTechMed-Graz Member

Timeline

• Application deadline: 15 June 2024
• Start of the lab rotation: From 1 October 2024 to 31 January 2025
