Flagship projects 2025

The aim is to promote excellent research projects (basic research/translational research) that combine the strengths of the three BioTechMed-Graz partner universities.

Application requirements (extract):

  • Projects must focus on basic research or technical/clinical implementation.
  • Each project must have a responsible Lead PI (full member) (one project per Lead-PI).
  • The Lead PI should proven expertise and a research competence research competence.
  • The consortium must comprise at least three project members (co-PIs) whereby all three partner universities must be represented.

Funding amount: Max. EUR 1,200,000 for 3 years

Hearing: November 18, 2025, at Meerscheinschlössl, University of Graz

Applicants will receive feedback on the written evaluation of their application on October 10, 2025.
