Interdisciplinary perspectives on AI, usability, and resilience in healthcare.
Medical Science Talks 2026 brings together experts from healthcare, research, industry, and innovation to explore how human-centered design, AI, and medical technology improve healthcare systems, usability, and healthy aging in real-world medical environments. The conference connects scientific insight with real-world application and enables interdisciplinary exchange across medicine, technology, and innovation.

10.-12.11.2026: European Summit of Industrial Biotechnology in Graz (Banner).
The European Summit of Industrial Biotechnology (esib), organized by acib GmbH, is a well-established networking platform event for the community of industrial biotechnology. esib 2026 is held together with the International Conference on Metabolic and Protein Engineering for Biosynthesis (MaPEB) and unites the leading representatives of industry, academia and politics in Graz, Austria from 10^th – 13^th November 2026. In addition to an exciting program focusing on “Circular Bioeconomy” and “AI and Biopharmaceutical Production,” this year’s event will once again feature numerous satellite events (workshops by bisy GmbH, a site visit to ZETA) and networking opportunities, such as the matchmaking event organized by EEN. As part of the Science Breakfasts, guest lectures on current scientific and socially relevant topics are held once a month.

The monthly Faculty Club offers all BioTechMed-Graz members a platform for interdisciplinary exchange and networking.

Once a year, BioTechMed-Graz invites a Nobel Prize winner to give a lecture in Graz in order to communicate cutting-edge science to a broad audience.

the discussion forum allows interested individuals to ask experts questions on a specific topic, thereby promoting dialogue between society and science.

The lab visits provide insight into the research activities and infrastructure of BioTechMed-Graz members with short presentations and a lab tour.

The retreats serve as a forum for exchange between BioTechMed-Graz researchers at different stages of their careers.
