Nobel Laureate Stefan Hell
On December 16, 2019, Nobel Laureate Prof. Stefan Hell held the BioTechMed-Graz Nobel Lecture 2019 on "Optical microscopy: the resolution revolution" at Graz University of Technology. In his inspiring lecture, Prof. Hell explained the principle of superresolution fluorescence microscopy. In addition, he gave a fascinating and very personal insight into his scientific career and the development steps that eventually led him to the Nobel Prize. The audience was captivated by the talk and took the opportunity to talk to Prof. Hell at the subsequent get together. Students, postdocs and professors from the three Graz partner universities as well as interested members of the public were enthusiastic about the BioTechMed-Graz Nobel Lecture 2019.
