Call for Ideas: Research Synergy

The aim of this call is to strengthen research synergies and the efficient use of resources across the Graz research location through innovative, cooperative approaches. We invite the submission of new ideas that promote collaboration and research synergies among the BioTechMed-Graz partner universities.The best ideas will each receive EUR 1,000.

• Eligibility

  • Full and Associate Members of BioTechMed-Graz may submit ideas

  • Ideas must involve at least two of the three BioTechMed-Graz partner universities.

  • Only new ideas that have not yet been implemented are eligible.

• Submission Requirements

  • Submissions must be in English and consist of a single PDF document of no more than 2 pages, including:

    • Project title and summary
    • Description of the collaborative approach and expected impact
    • Relevance to one or more key topics
    • Team members and university affiliation

  • Submissions must be sent by email to office(at)biotechmedgraz.at.

Shortlisted submissions will be announced at the end of November and invited to be presented at the BioTechMed-Graz General Meeting on December 16, 2026. Based on these presentations, up to three winning ideas will be selected. The winners will also have the opportunity to present their ideas to the BioTechMed-Graz Steering Committee.
