Guidelines for event cost subsidies

The following criteria are prerequisites for BioTechMed-Graz to cover the costs up to a maximum of EUR 1,000:

• It is a scientific event (symposium, congress, etc.) of broad interest to the members of BioTechMed-Graz, which is organized by persons/institutions from at least two of the three BioTechMed-Graz partner universities.
• The content of the event is clearly related to at least one of the four departments of BioTechMed-Graz.
• External persons are involved in the event (e.g. lecturers).
• The BioTechMed-Graz logo will be placed on the announcements of the event (program, folder, etc.) and there is the possibility of placing appropriate advertising material at the event.
• Costs for external, international speakers (e.g. travel, hotel costs) and direct material expenses for the event will be covered on presentation of appropriate proof (invoices).

If the above criteria are met and, in addition, a lecture at the event is clearly marked as a "BioTechMed-Graz Lecture" in the program, BioTechMed-Graz may cover a maximum of EUR 2,000. In this case, the event will be referred to as a "BioTechMed-Graz Symposium" and listed as such on the BioTechMed-Graz website, among other places.

The BioTechMed-Graz Board of Directors will check the applications for cost coverage for formal criteria and decide on a possible approval and the amount of the event subsidy.
