04.-06.11.2026: 2026 Vienna BioCenter PhD Symposium, titled “A Trail of Twists and Turns: non-linear paths to discovery.”
This symposium, which takes place from November 4th to 6th, celebrates the authentic journey of discovery, highlighting the curiosity, persistence, and serendipity that shape real-world problem-solving. Science and creativity rarely follow a straight line. Breakthroughs often emerge from unexpected detours, dead ends, and iterative exploration that never make it into the polished narrative of published work.
The symposium will host exciting international speakers who will present in sessions on Biochemistry & Synthetic Biology, Molecular Architecture, Cellular Architecture, Immunology and Neurobiology. We will also host career workshops with scientists now working outside of academia (in startups, scientific communication, patenting, and more), poster sessions, plenty of networking opportunities, and, last but not least, a party!
10.-12.11.2026: European Summit of Industrial Biotechnology in Graz (Banner).
